Hot melt glue gun for cartons and cardboard boxes.
For cartons and boxes, we'd usually start with a mechanical MS 80 or MS 200 for short runs, samples and rework, and an air-driven TR 50.5 or TR 55.2 LCD for a full shift. Fit the 18 mm slot nozzle to close boxes with a wide, flat band. We supply the adhesive with the gun.

A hand gun covers what the line should not: small batches, hand samples, trying a new adhesive, and reworking rejects.
Securing cartons on a pallet
The TR 60 LCD sprays a wide area: it covers the top of a Euro pallet, 120 × 80 cm.
An example setup
Take a job like sweets in cellophane bags glued onto cardboard hangers, with a food-approved adhesive that has to survive hot and cold transport and hang on a shelf. The setup: a TR 55.2 LCD on the bench mount with a footswitch and a 3-hole nozzle, both hands free. Three lines side by side give a bigger bond area without a thick bead.

Which hot melt is best for cardboard?
It depends on the board, its coating and where the boxes go. Tell us and we recommend one.
Do I need compressed air?
Not for the MS guns. The TR guns need 2 to 6 bar.
