The right hot melt glue gun depends on four things: what you bond and with which adhesive, how the glue goes down (dot, bead, wide band or spray), how long your runs are, and how often you adjust temperature. PUR always needs a cartridge gun, and a cartridge gun also makes glue changes quick; long continuous runs suit an air-driven gun.

Which glue gun is best for carton sealing?
For short runs, samples and rework, a mechanical MS 80 or MS 200. For a full shift, an air-driven TR 50.5 or TR 55.2 LCD. Fit the 18 mm slot nozzle to close boxes with a wide, flat band.
What glue gun do I need for PUR?
A cartridge gun: TR 700 (fixed 120 °C), TR 70 LCD (set 50 to 210 °C) or TR 80 LCD (beads or spray). PUR cures with moisture, so it comes in sealed cartridges.
When should I choose a pneumatic glue gun?
When you glue for a full shift or on a line, spray, work hands-free on a bench, or use PUR. The air pushes the glue, so the operator only presses the trigger.
How do I choose the right Reka glue gun?

Can one Reka glue gun lay dots, lines and spray?
Yes: the TR 60 LCD and TR 80 LCD. Every Reka gun lays dots, beads and wide bands; these also spray. The nozzle you fit sets the pattern.
Can a hand glue gun spray?
Yes. The TR 60 LCD sprays granulate hot melt and the TR 80 LCD sprays from cartridges, including PUR. Both come with a stand with two pressure regulators.
